European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and The EFQM Model

EFQM aims to share what works and nurtures a network of world-class organisations and their leaders who share a passion for business excellence. 

Quality Scotland has supported organisations in using the EFQM Model in Scotland for over 25years.  As a Recognised Partner of EFQM, we are licensed to assist you to implement the EFQM Model, by providing training, assessment tools and recognition.  

We believe that the EFQM Model is a common framework that helps us all to improve our businesses.

The EFQM Model is based on a set of European values, first expressed in the European Convention on Human Rights (1953) and the European Social Charter (revised in 1996). This treaty is ratified by the 47 member states of the Council of Europe and the principles are incorporated into national legislation.
