Coaching and Mentoring

As a response to COVID 2019 Quality Scotland would like to support members with 2 On-line Coaching Sessions.

In uncertain times we can forget our strengths but in these times of major disruption, that’s the last thing we should do. Leaders should remember how good they are!

What is coaching

A focused dialogue designed to move you from where you are now, to where you want to be.

A coach works with individuals to help them gain self-awareness, clarify goals, achieve their development objectives, unlock their potential, and act as a sounding board.

Clients have listed many benefits from coaching and we have listed some of them below. However in these examples some of them are due to the fact that no commercial contract is undertaken

  • Breakthrough ideas

  • Structured learning

  • Cascade learning – those being coached pass on techniques to their team

  • Highly cost effective development approach*

  • Confidential development intervention

  • Objective reflection

  • Ownership and engagement

  • Autonomy through a non directive approach

  • “Being listened to”

  • Unlocking potential

  • Breadth of learning

We also provide tailored courses to meet your organisation needs, whether a broader introduction to coaching and mentoring or specific training for leaders and staff involved in coaching others.

Contact us for further information or to discuss your specific requirements and we will support you to ensure that your teams are equipped to cope with the complexities associated with working in an ever-changing environment.
