Diana Beagent is a member and Licensed Associate of Quality Scotland, having been accredited as a National Excellence Assessor. She is also co-founder and joint owner of Be Agents for Business Improvement, a small independent concern. She is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and the Institute of Business Consulting.
As Diana says, "It still shocks me how often we avoid tackling performance issues. We have all heard of cases where the situation remains unresolved, and often tolerated, for years, or where the actions taken are perceived as regarding delinquency. That these situations can frequently be observed in organisations which are otherwise committed to high performance, and in which people are encouraged to feel good about their contribution, raises important questions. That is why we have developed this event; to enable us all to reflect on our current strategies and their appropriateness, and to top up our tool kits."
