What is Pathway?

Pathway is an easy-to-use online tool that allows you to assess your organisation's performance and identify areas for improvement - straight from your desktop!

Designed exclusively by Quality Scotland, Pathway operates by allowing employees to answer a series of questions relating to the different aspects of your organisational performance against the criteria of the Excellence Model.

How do I use Pathway?

Pathway is a flexible tool that can be applied to your entire organisation or specific departments/units as required. The question sets and branding can be adapted specifically to meet your needs ensuring the language used in the questionnaire is always relevant to your organisation.

Once completed, the findings will provide you with a detailed picture of your strengths and areas for improvement that can be analysed for the organisation as a whole, by department, discipline or team and the user can begin to compile and implement a continuous improvement plan.

This valuable insight can help deliver real bottom-line results and encourage continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Since the development of Pathway, Quality Scotland has worked with the tool extensively across the public, private and voluntary sectors. The tool has continually proved to bring results across all sectors due to its flexible nature, particularly as both the language and the branding of the tool can be tailored to suit individual organisational needs.

How much does Pathway cost?

• All voluntary organisations should contact Orla McDonald for further advice on pricing.
• Annual Software License fee (after year 1) costs £500.
• Prices are subject to change dependent on amount of tailoring required.
• Should your organisation have more or fewer employees that stated, please contact Quality Scotland for other options.

How do I purchase Pathway?

Pathway can be purchased in a standard format and is accessed through a website, allowing each user to have a unique username and password. Tailored versions of the tool can be created in consultation with Quality Scotland.
