The EFQM Global Excellence Award is organised once a year and it is designed to recognise the world's best performing organisations, whether private, public or non-profit. It recognises industry leaders with an indisputable track record of success in turning strategy into action and continuously improving their organisation's performance.
It is supported by one of the most rigorous assessment processes based on the EFQM Excellence Model. A team of international managers with different backgrounds spend one week on an applicant's site, spending an average of 500 hours interviewing people at all levels and analysing the organisation's performance.
The feedback from the Assessment Team is then presented to an independent jury that decides the level of recognition for each Nominee. To win the EFQM Global Excellence Award, an applicant must be able to demonstrate that their performance not only exceeds that of their peers, but also that they will maintain this advantage into the future.
EFQM Global Excellence Index
Born from the ambition to promote global Excellence across sectors and facilitate benchmarking, the EFQM Global Excellence Index is a platform where organisations will be recognised by EFQM and can profile themselves within their sector and feature their best and role model practices.
