From the top of the Waverly steps, cross over Princes Street and walk up-hill along St Andrew Street South and continue through St Andrew Square and walk down the hill. Cross over York Place and continue down Dublin Street. Abercromby Place is the first turning on the left. |
| By Car from the West |
From the West routes to the City centre converge at the West End of Princes Street. At the West End, turn left onto South Charlotte Street (signposted Berwick upon Tweed A1, East End). Continue forward onto Charlotte Square and then on to North Charlotte Street. At traffic lights, turn right onto Queen Street Gardens. Continue forward onto Queen Street. Continue forward onto Queen Street before turning left onto Dundas Street. Turn right onto Abercromby Place. |
| By Car from Queensferry Street |
After crossing the Dean Bridge, turn left at the traffic lights into Randolph Crescent. Take the first turning left into Great Stuart Street and turn right at the far end. This road becomes Queen Street after the junction with North Charlotte Street at the traffic lights. |
| By Car from the East |
London Road and Leith Walk converge at the roundabout at the top of Leith Walk. Turn right at the roundabout after the Playhouse Theatre onto Broughton Street, then turn second left into Albany Street. Go straight ahead at the crossroads with Dublin Street onto Abercromby Place. |
| By Air | Edinburgh Airport is only 6 miles from the City Centre. Bus services operate between the airport and the City Centre (top of Waverly Steps) every 15 minutes. |
