Practical Tools for Project Management

Do some project management approaches seem unnecessarily complex for your needs? Are projects not as successful as they might be? Do you need some straightforward tools to structure your project plans and actions?

If any of the above ring true for you, or if, like many of us, you aren’t a Project Manager yet you manage projects as part of your day to day role, then this practical half day course is for you.

We will introduce you to a 4 stage approach to project management, to guide you through a project from inception to closure.  We’ll demystify the process so you’ll learn about the key steps in each stage, with as little jargon as possible.  Using a case study to apply some techniques, you’ll have an opportunity to reflect on your own experiences, and form a view on which parts are key for you.  We’ll even provide some handy tools after the course which you can adapt for your own use.

At A Glance

  • Straightforward 4 stage approach to project management
  • Logical stepped approach
  • Case study example to facilitate learning through exercises
  • Reflection on experience to identify areas for improvement
