What is an Award Assessor?

Award assessors are individuals that have trained as EFQM Accredited Assessors and developed a detailed understanding of the EFQM Excellence Model. Becoming an Award Assessor gives these individuals the opportunity to put the training into practice by assessing a “live” organisation for one of Quality Scotland’s recognition schemes. Award Assessors will gain insight in to the business practices of a high-performing organisation and will have the opportunity to conduct site visits. These skills are particularly valuable if your job involves organisational development, business improvement or providing business advice.
